Queens Must-Eat 🍗 | UFC's Korean-Style Fried Chicken is a Winner!
If you find yourself in Jackson Heights, make a stop at UFC — which stands for "Unidentified Flying Chicken" 🛸🍗. The name’s quirky, and so is the menu, blending Korean-style halal fried chicken with American bar bites in a fun (if slightly chaotic) mix. We tried a few items, and here’s the breakdown: 🍗 Korean Fried Chicken Double-fried to crispy perfection while staying juicy inside. We got the Garlic Soy and BBQ Mustard flavors — both solid, but the garlic soy was the clear winner. Savory, not too sweet, and totally addictive! 🍔 UFC Burger A hefty burger with a real steak patty — definitely worth trying if you’re extra hungry. 🥧 Beef Empanada Not sure how authentic it is (maybe Mexican-inspired?), but it was cheesy, savory, and made for a nice snack. 🍛 Chicken Katsu Teppan Rice The letdown of the meal 😅… The chicken was thin, the “teppan” was purely decorative (it came cold!), and it’s supposed to come with a drink as part of the lunch special — but the server never asked, and I totally forgot. Still feeling the regret! All in all — come for the chicken, maybe skip the teppan. A fun spot with personality and some truly tasty wings! Hey everyone!
