Quince Lakehouse | Stunning Lakeside Views & Surprisingly Good Food

📍 3825 Lake Austin Blvd #201, Austin, TX 78703 My friend took me here for dinner last Saturday — and wow, what a upgrade! This place used to be Oyster Landing (which was… not great 😬), so I was hesitant to try it. I usually just enjoy the view with coffee at Mozart’s next door ☕️. But Quince totally surprised me! Most lakeside restaurants in Austin prioritize the view over the food, but this one actually delivers on both 🌟. The menu is fun and eclectic — you’ll find Japanese, Mexican, and Mediterranean influences! We ordered: Ceviche 🐟 Rock Shrimp 🍤 Beef Crudo 🥩 Octopus 🐙 Short Rib Hummus (my favorite! 😍) Tuna Salad (just okay) Everything was pretty tasty — except the Tuna Salad was a bit bland. The Short Rib Hummus was the star! 👌 The view is gorgeous 💖. While you don’t get the full sunset like at Oasis, we caught a magical pink sky yesterday — so dreamy! 🌇 We booked last minute, so next time I’d reserve a better table earlier. The bar and seats facing Mozart’s are first-come-first-serve (no view though). Pro tip: Book ahead on weekdays or earlier for the best spots! This would also be a lovely place for anniversaries — they even hand out sparklers! 🎆✨ We stayed for hours… Austin weather right now is just perfect — warm days and comfortably cool evenings 🌙💨. Quince stays open late, so it’s ideal for relaxing with friends over drinks and enjoying the lake breeze.
