Thai Phooket 🍲 As a Thai food lover, I highly recommend their Tom Yum Goong (seafood hot and sour soup)! It's authentic with no fishy smell, and has a pronounced tanginess that matches the taste preferences shaped by Singaporean Thai cuisine. The hotpot is only $15.95 for two portions. 🌶️ Though we can handle spice, their Level 5 was intensely hot—so opt for medium or mild if you’re not a heat champion! I also find their Drunken Noodles consistently better than Pad Thai (which I’ve never really enjoyed in the US). VN PHO 🍛 This place is so good we call it our "canteen"—we went three times in one week! Personally, their rice dishes outperform the noodles. The Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup) is rich and deeply flavorful, as if simmered for hours with generous amounts of beef. My favorite is the Curry Chicken with Rice—the portion is generous with more meat than rice! 💰 Note: They’re located opposite K&S Asian Market on Charlotte Pike and accept cash only. Martin's BBQ Joint 🍖 The best BBQ we’ve had in Nashville so far! The meat is tender and richly smoked. You can order pork ribs half-and-half (dry rub and sauced), and their sides are equally delicious. 🙅‍♀️ Not My Cup of Tea… Smile Elephant Their Tom Yum Goong had plenty of crab meat, but the seafood was too fishy, making it unappetizing. It’s said they have the “best Pad Thai in Nashville,” but I haven’t tried it yet. Korea House Restaurant (Google Reviews 4.7 🤔) Sadly, this place redefined “disappointing” for me. The soup tasted like spicy rinse water—I never thought Korean food could taste this bad until I tried here. Let me know if you’d like more recommendations or specifics about these places! 😊 #Nashville #NashvilleEats #Foodie
