Reggae Jerk Hut | Jamaican Oxtail Stew

✨The oxtail stew here is absolutely delicious! I had tried oxtail at a Cuban restaurant before and knew it could be amazing, so when I recently craved it again, 🍃 I searched around and found this spot. Its 3.8-star rating isn’t high, but after reading the reviews carefully, I noticed most complaints were about slow service and high prices—almost everyone still praised the flavor. ✔️We ordered the Tour of Jamaica, which includes a combo: The oxtail was fantastic 👍 Curry goat tasted similar to Indian-style curry 👍 Jerk chicken reminded me of American BBQ—just okay It also came with two sweet little buns with a hint of cinnamon—yum 😋 🥰We also tried the Little Haiti, which is fried pork—a bit tough with a tangy, lemon-marinated taste. It was decent, but probably not something I’d order again. However, the pink salad served with it (made with beets) might be the only way I’ve ever enjoyed beets—so good I even took the leftovers home! 🛎️The service here is very laid-back. When I visited, there were only 3–4 tables, but it still took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive—definitely not fast. Overall, the flavors are worth trying, but you’ll need a little patience. #McKinney#McKinneyfood#McKinneylife#fooddiary#McKinneyguiide#McKinneyRestaurant#McKinneytravel
