Rescued by the rain in Seville!
The streets are quiet, and the cobblestone paths of the old town have a bit of a foreign Jiangnan vibe. 🌧️🇪🇸 After finishing the hotel breakfast around 11 am, I stepped out to the sound of rain and strolled over to the Plaza de toros de Sevilla, to explore the oldest bullring in Spain, with nearly 300 years of history. 🌧️🚶♂️ The rain washes over the bullring, almost as if you can hear the cheers and applause of the bullfights. 🎉 Tips: The entrance fee is 10💶 Buying tickets online via Google gets you a shorter queue than buying them offline. ⏳ Spanish bullfighting originated from ancient Spanish religious activities (offering bulls as sacrifices to the gods) and later evolved into bullfighting performances. From March to November is the bullfighting season in Spain, with bullfights usually held on Sundays and Thursdays. 🐂📅 In Spain, bullfighters are seen as brave and fearless men, holding a higher status than ordinary celebrities and entertainers. In the museum’s exhibition hall, you can see the lavish bullfighting costumes they once wore and the medals they were awarded. 🎖️ #SevilleTravelGuide #SevilleTravel #SevilleBullring #SpainTravelGuide #Spain #SpainTravel
