Restaurant Review|This Hidden Gem Near the Cathedral is AMAZING
📍 Al-Farid This Moroccan restaurant is an absolute delight! We opted for the unlimited set menu - five of us not only finished a portion meant for six, but kept ordering more dishes! The owner is hilariously enthusiastic. When I asked if Moroccan coffee could be served with milk, he said: "No, but once you drink it, you'll be so happy you'll jump from here to there and back again!" 😂 Me: "Well then...I'll stick with juice!" When we ordered extra chicken wings, he quietly brought two portions instead, saying "I know you can finish it!" Every dish came with a cheerful "Tada!" presentation. The Food (Everything was incredible!):Freshly baked flatbreadHummus & lemon yogurt dip Eggplant spread & grilled mushrooms,Crispy fried cheese,Star dish: Chicken wings (perfectly crispy outside, juicy inside)Fish cakes & lamb meatballs,Various bean dishes we couldn't even name,Roasted baby potatoes (tasted just like home-style Chinese cooking!) Drinks: Their homemade juice blend (apple, mango, passionfruit, citrus & lemon) was refreshingly delicious. We started lunch at noon and didn't leave until 4pm - literally skipped dinner after this feast! 🤣 Details: 💰 £30pp 📍 EX1 1HJ (Right by the cathedral) 🇲🇦 Authentic Moroccan cuisine #HiddenGem #RestaurantRecs #GlobalEats #AllYouCanEat #FoodieHeaven #MyFoodDiary #UK #LifeInUK #UKRestaurants #ExeterEats
