Restaurants in Pokhara, Nepal 🇳🇵—You Can’t Go Wrong with Any Pick

I’ve only tried Nepali food once, and the momo (Nepali dumplings) were pretty good. You can usually find decent momo at local street stalls, but you have to turn a blind eye to the hygiene conditions. So today, I’m skipping Nepali food guides and going straight for "Western-style meals": Restaurants popular with Westerners are generally fresh and clean, plus Nepal has great prices—most places cost just 30-50 RMB per person for a satisfying meal! First: Cafe Camila 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This is my absolute favorite brunch spot in Pokhara ! Run by a Korean (owner), the vibe here is chef’s kiss—it’s a one-stop spot with a hotel, restaurant, café, and even a nail salon, with such thoughtful service. The food is both beautiful and delicious. I ate here three days in a row, trying different dishes each time, and nothing disappointed. You can order blindly and be safe. Their yogurt bowl is a must—I almost had two every day, it’s so refreshingly sweet and tangy! The place is full of good-looking people, mostly Westerners and Koreans, making dining feel like watching a live fashion show~ Second: Vegan Way 🌟🌟🌟 A fully vegan restaurant, and surprisingly amazing despite no meat! Their avocado dishes are standout—whether avocado toast or salad, the freshness shines through. It’s also a great brunch spot: the second floor has lake-view seats, with direct views of Phewa Lake’s sparkling waters 🚣. You can watch digital nomads chilling on the lakeshore, and with the sun shining, it’s pure relaxed romance~ Third: The Juicery Cafe 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended in Pokhara I went here the day before heading into the mountains— the vibe is incredible, like stepping into a Swiss village 🇨🇭 with its wooden decor and greenery. They have yoga classes 🧘 on the second floor every morning and afternoon—super relaxing. At night, there’s live music, and you can even request songs to sing yourself (no cost)! My outgoing Hong Kong friend and I sang, and the guests nearby loved it—everyone raised their glasses and joined in 🍻. Try the beef pizza, pasta, or chicken rice— the meat dishes are decent but not exceptional. Their yogurt bowl is supposed to be a signature, but I found it just okay. Fourth Recommendation: Krazy Gecko 🌟🌟🌟 It’s a bit off the main street, not in the center, but has the perfect "chill and do nothing" vibe. The environment is amazing—wooden terraces nestled in greenery, ideal for lazing away an afternoon. The meat here is fresher than the other spots. My friend and I watched the sunset here, and the orange sky was so stunning we almost screamed! Highly recommend their coffee ☕️— rich and aromatic, perfect with the evening breeze. 💡 Tip: Don’t show off your alcohol tolerance in Nepal! Local beer seems mild but packs a strong punch—though it tastes great with a rich malt flavor~ After dinner, take a walk by the lake—there are a few nearby bars for a drink. Next time, I’ll share Pokhara accommodation recommendations. Goodbye for now 🧡 #PokharaFood #NepalTravel #PokharaEats #BrunchRecommendations #LivingInPokhara #BestWesternFood
