#HIGHLYNOTRECOMMENDED Ordered a cake ALAS!! I got a pie. And, that was the moment when I literally understood the real meaning of this "EXPECTATIONS VS REALITY" phrase. That's what exactly happened when I ordered a Vegan cake yet, got a pie instead. If the cake is supposed to be like a pie sorry but, I don't want to eat this cake in my life anymore. That's not how the cake is supposed to be 😭. I paid a generous amount for that. My humble request please, don't sell a pie in the name of Cake (I really had a good expectation after seeing a photo in instagram and ordered it without a second thought but, for me, it was a disaster). Also, I requested them to write "Happy Birthday". They did mention that they don't write any message in a cake. For an instance I was quite confused, the shop whick takes an order for a cake but doesn't write a message in a cake. Yet, I requested them to write in an attractive piece of paper that would have been fine. But please, look at the picture that's what I got 😭. That was really heartbreaking 💔. That so called cake and that note ruined all the birthday vibes. It was really really disappointing. I don't know about the other dishes served here, though. I can't be that selfish to just give a bad review for others dishes which I haven't tried for the worst experience that I faced for my order. A humble request, please clarify the customers about the cake you serve. Please!!
Yet, the one whom I contacted to order a cake was generous enough to treat me a vegan meal for free for the complaint I gave about the so called cake. Because, they don't want me to post me a bad review. But, for the experience that I faced, I was courageous enough to ask for a refund. But, they didn't. Thank you for ruining the birthday vibes with your cake. I truly appreciate...

Right when we sat down a lady came and brought us the menus, she told us quite rudely that we were supposed to order at the cashiers. No Problem at all but honestly we should’ve left there.
Food came very quickly, I was fairly surprised how fast the burger was made. All the dishes were served one after the other and by different people, sometimes with a friendly smile, but more often with a grumpy or unfriendly attitude. There was a colorful crowd of different people at the restaurant, mostly foreigners with a love for yoga and alternative ways of living, I’d guess. We like our surroundings to be diverse, so we didn’t have any problem with that, however, we didn’t quite fit in and got the feeling that the staff didn’t like that. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my plate was taken by the server before I even chewed my last bite. Same with the other plates or glasses: As soon as we appeared to be done, the empty dishes were grabbed by the waitress. I assume that some people might see this as politely and good service, but for us it just felt as if they wanted us to be done and have us leaving as soon as possible. Not very welcoming. Especially because the empty plates/glasses of other guests were not taken away that quickly and the waitress asked them whether she could take it before she brought it to the kitchen.
The burger, muffin, smoothie, bread and shot were great; the soup was really bland. We won’t be coming back, maybe the experience on the front porch is better, but we’re not...
Read moreEvery dish is extremely unique, amazingly flavored, nutritious and fulfiling at the same time. There's something for every time of the day, from coffee, juices and smoothies, to excellent food and sweet delicacies. We returned there again and again, just to make sure we have enough time to try the entire menu.
The people who run the place are extremely kind, smiling, decent and hard working. They even offered us to eat there one day we had ran out of cash and return the next day to pay!
There's amazing atmosphere, in a beautiful spot by the lake and definitely the place to meet the most interesting people around. We returned almost every day to this place to eat, work, read, write, relax and just be there.
We did several yoga classes hith Ganesh, a highly recommended thing to do in vegan way. Enjoying your superfood meal after a yoga class, feels wholistic to the body and soul. Ganesh is a unique instructor, if you're already practicing yoga, you don't wanna miss this guy. If not, you're lucky to have your first class with someone like Ganesh.
The musicians and the jams are an every day bonus. Tip: Go there on your first day in Pokhara, there's never...
