🌟 Review|W Santiago, Chile 🇨🇱

My South American Christmas adventure kicked off in Santiago, and despite warnings about the city’s safety, I chose the W Santiago in the upscale Las Condes neighborhood—a safer bet for solo travel. Here’s the scoop: ✨ Suite Surprise! Upgrade Magic: Booked a standard room, but 5 days before arrival, it jumped to a “Fantastic Suite.” Then, 2 days prior, it morphed into a 990 sqft Marvelous Suite—bigger than my Canadian apartment! 🏠💧 Cue happy tears. Welcome Gifts: Night 1: A bottle of Chilean red + rooftop bar vouchers. Night 2: Another bottle + a box of FETE Chocolate (the exact brand I’d eyed while passing their crowded store!). 🍫✨ 🛌 The Good, The Bad, The Cozy Pros: Rooftop Oasis: The 21st-floor bar/pool offers stunning Andes views at sunset. 🏔️🍹 Thoughtful Service: They swapped my too-soft pillows for a latex pillow after noticing I’d doubled up—next-level attention! Location: Safe area, 10-min walk to the metro, surrounded by trendy restaurants. Cons: Dated Vibes: Some facilities feel worn (hello, noisy AC at night!). Smoky Rooftop: The bar allows smoking—prepare for cigar-chainsmoking uncles ruining the vibe. 🚬😑 🌍 Travel Hacks Airport Woes: Santiago’s immigration/customs is slow. Pre-book a transfer—Uber doesn’t take Apple Pay here. December Note: Sunset is around 8:30 PM—plan rooftop drinks accordingly! #WHotels #SantiagoChile #LuxuryTravel #MarriottBonvoy #ChileanWine
