๐ฆ Richmond Park | Deer Watching at Richmond Park
The UK in late spring is perfect for outdoor activities ๐ฆ ๐ฆ ๐ฆข ๐ฆฎ ๐ I went to see the deer with a bit of luck, but I was surprised to see them as soon as I arrived, so everyone can go with confidence. Entering from the north gate and walking straight for about 10 minutes, you'll see the deer herd on the left. It was my first time seeing so many spotted deer, and they are really adorable when they wag their tails! Richmond Park is really huge, so be prepared for a hike. We walked all the way to the central lake and then took different paths back, which took us over 4 hours. Fortunately, the scenery along the way was beautiful, and we saw deer herds, horses, ducks, geese, many cute dogs, and strange-shaped trees, so it wasn't too tiring. ๐ Tips: ๐๏ธ Trash Cans: There are few trash cans in the park. You'll only find them by the lake, which is probably why it's the most crowded area. There is a dog waste bin at the school entrance. ๐พ Restrooms: There are no restrooms in the park. There are restrooms at the north entrance parking lot, so it's recommended to use them before entering the park. ๐ Footwear: Please wear shoes that are comfortable for a 4-hour hike. ๐ Sun Protection: Although there are many grass and trees, most areas are quite open. Hats and sunglasses are a must. ๐ฝ๏ธ Food and Drink: We didn't see any food or drink stalls in the park. There is a water bar and food truck at the north entrance, where you can use cards/Apple Pay, etc. It's recommended to bring your own or buy in the town of Mortlake. There are fewer chain stores (no KFC, McDonald's, Starbucks), but there are many nice-looking coffee shops. You can order brunch on weekends. #LondonWeekend #LondonMay #RichmondPark #LondonDeer #UKAttractions #UKOutdoors
