Rio's Tripadvisor Top 1 Classic Steakhouse

Today I tried Churrascaria Palace, a renowned Rio barbecue buffet established in 1951. It was decent but fell slightly short compared to São Paulo’s top spots. 🦪 Seafood Highlights: Salmon was fresh. Oysters were fresh but lacked sweetness. Seafood soup was pleasantly mild (not overly salty). 🥩 Meat Review: All meats were very fresh. My favorite was the Argentina beef (not listed on the menu) — cooked medium-rare, tender, well-marbled without being greasy or overly bloody. Other standouts: baby beef, picanha nove (or novo, I can’t recall), and cowboy steak. However, the meats weren’t served sizzling hot, and some charred parts tasted slightly bitter. Seasoning was subtle — salt and black pepper are provided for self-adjustment. 💰 Cost: 232 BRL per person + 13% service fee. #Churrascaria Palace#Rio de Janeiro#RioEats #BrazilianBBQ #FoodReview #TravelFoodie#travel guide#Brazil#Brazil guide
