Rio de Janeir
Probably the most famous and most visited attraction in Brazil is the Christ the Redeemer statue🗿. Even if you get in the first batch, you can't avoid the crowds; it's just the price you pay for checking in at one of the New Seven Wonders of the World😅. If you have time, Tijuca National Park where Corcovado Mountain is located has many great hiking trails🥾. Don't miss Parque Lage and the Botanical Garden at the foot of the mountain🌿. The former is a park converted from an old site, with a cafe inside☕, but as it's an internet-famous spot, you have to wait in a long queue to get a seat. If you're just there to take photos, there's no need to wait📸. If you want to try Brazilian barbecue, you can give Churrascaria Palace a go; it's a buffet with plenty of options🍖. Head to Copacabana Beach to watch the sunrise before dawn🌅. The beach is so quiet at this time, with only a few passers-by, completely different from its usual lively self😌. Watching the sea level go from pitch black to a little light and finally the golden sun rising, it feels like witnessing a miracle✨. As the sky gradually brightens, you'll notice people starting to gather, and soon Copacabana returns to the way you remember it. If you want to have the beach to yourself briefly, watching the sunrise is a great plan. As the crowds arrive, we move to the nearby but equally famous Ipanema Beach🌊. It was probably first known to the world because of the song "The Girl from Ipanema"🎶. Unlike Copacabana's fiery vibe, Ipanema has a rather unrestrained and free-spirited charm. Even though they're just a few streets apart, the two have completely different styles. Further west is Leblon - an upscale area with various restaurants and shops🛍️. It's perfect to have brunch at a beachside restaurant🍴, then buy an ice cream and wander around, enjoying the remaining time in Rio under the bright sun🍦. #Brazil #RioDeJaneiro #Travel
