🚗 Road Trip Adventure | 90-Mile Lakeside Journey to Milwaukee 🗺️
Chicago and Milwaukee are two major cities in the American Midwest, located about 90 miles apart—just around a 1.5-hour drive away. (🇺🇸 Miles here, but our Canadian friends use kilometers! 🇨🇦) 🚘 Driving Guide: Take I-94 North. Smooth ride, roughly 1.5 hours with typical traffic. 🌈 Must-Visit Spots: ✔️ Milwaukee Art Museum 🎨 The building itself is an architectural landmark. Houses an impressive collection of artworks. ✔️ Milwaukee Public Market 🦞🍻 Packed with local food vendors—perfect for tasting regional flavors. Don’t miss the lobster roll and local beer! ✔️ Harley-Davidson Museum 🏍️ Explore the history and iconic models of this legendary motorcycle brand. ✔️ Milwaukee Lakefront 🌊 Located on the shores of Lake Michigan. Beautiful trails, parks, and beaches—ideal for strolls and relaxation. ✔️ Historic Third Ward 🖼️🛍️ A charming arts district filled with galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. 🏨 Accommodation: Stayed at The Dubbel Dutch – looked unique and retro online 🏛️, but reality was a bit underwhelming, maybe due to ongoing construction nearby 🚧. Didn’t get to check out the upstairs bar due to time constraints. Parking was convenient but cost $35 💲—not included in the room rate. 🥘 Local Food: The lobster roll at the Public Market is a must-try! Waited about 10-15 minutes in line—not too bad. Staff were super friendly ❤️🔥. Also offers sushi, desserts, and more—worth exploring further! 🌃 Night Views & Final Thoughts: Though short on time, we caught the Milwaukee Art Museum at night—unlit but still stunning ✨. It looks completely different after dark! Highly recommend visiting both day and night. #Milwaukee #Chicago #MKEtravel #MKEfood #MKEGuide #ChicagoRoadTrip #USRoadTrip #ExploreUSA
