🌿 Rochester‘s Green Gardens🌱|A Day Trip Guide Day5️⃣ Rochester, affectionately called (Luo Village) 🏡. This city’s first impression on me was peaceful and relaxed—no hustle and bustle like NYC, just a historic vibe lining the streets. Driving through downtown, the architectural styles shift seamlessly: one moment it’s modern office towers, the next it’s elegant old-world European buildings. Different styles blend together with no sense of clash~ Though my stay was short, the lush greenery and laid-back pace made me really fall for this place! 💚 🌳 University of Rochester Here I am, touring yet another university! 📚 Following the logic that “other people’s universities are always nicer,” I came to soak up some knowledge (actually, I just had nowhere else to go before sunset lol). The campus isn’t huge, with mostly red-brick and white-trimmed buildings, classic and refined. Not many students stay during summer break—less liveliness, but more tranquility~ 🏛️ 🌳 Warner Castle 📍 5 Castle Park, Rochester, NY 14620 A beautiful little castle🏰, said to be inspired by Scottish design. It’s very quiet inside and out, and every corner is photogenic! Locals love taking wedding photos here~ 👰✨ ⚠️ Note: The castle is only open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—don’t forget if you’re planning a visit! 🌳 George Eastman Museum 📍 900 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14607 A completely unexpected museum! 🏛️ It has two main parts: the left side features exhibitions by master photographers and the evolution of vintage cameras📸, while the right side is a huge, gorgeous mansion and gardens. The mansion looks more like a castle from the outside—I couldn’t help dreaming of sudden wealth while walking through… but reality, well, we all know how that goes😭. 💡 Remember your student ID! Tickets are half price~ 🎫✨ 🌳 Ontario Beach Park 📍 50 Beach Ave, Rochester, NY 14612 A well-known local park right on the shores of Lake Ontario🌊, with Canada visible across the water. Strolling, feeling the breeze, and watching the sunset here is the perfect way to end a full day! 🌅 Rochester has plenty more to offer, like The Strong National Museum of Play and Seneca Park Zoo—highly rated on Xiaohongshu! 🎠🐾 Didn’t make it this time due to schedule, but if you’re traveling with family, definitely add them to your list~ 👨👩👧👦 #Rochester#UniversityOfRocheste#NewYorkStat#EastCoastUSA#GreenTherapy#NewYork
