Roman and Williams Guild: Furniture from an Oil Painting 🌟

Roman and Williams Guild is the same company as the famous Instagram restaurant La Mercerie. The reason I visited was because I stumbled upon a vlog by a Korean YouTuber. 🏙️ Before that, I hadn't been interested because the reviews for this place were mixed. I was hesitant and worried that I might be turned away if I wasn't dining at the restaurant, but it turned out my worries were unnecessary. Although you have to pass through the restaurant to get to the shop area, both the front desk and the waitstaff were very welcoming to customers heading straight to the store. 🎢 The tableware here has a very consistent and distinct color palette, which makes it super convenient if you want to match an entire set without much thought. However, the prices are quite steep. 🍃 Compared to the old-money luxury furniture in Midtown's Furniture District, where large pieces can cost thousands, even regular tableware here can cost a hundred dollars or more. 🌸 There are many pieces by Japanese pottery masters. If you really love handmade ceramics or find a piece you absolutely adore, it's worth the splurge.
