Romantic Date at Watercolour in Markham
We had a delightful lunch at Watercolour, a Mediterranean restaurant with a charming atmosphere, located in the picturesque Unionville village. The environment is beautiful, quiet, and comfortable, and the service was excellent. You can make a reservation on Yelp and request a table on the second floor, preferably with an arched seat. There is also a parking lot at the back, which is quite convenient. 🍾 All three dishes we ordered were delicious and exceeded the standard of typical Western cuisine! While good-looking food is common, it's rare to find a restaurant that also delivers on taste. Mains 🥩 SURF 'N' TURF How could steak paired with jumbo tiger prawns not be delicious? The steak was cooked to medium perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was sliced for easy eating, and the giant prawns were incredibly satisfying. 🍝 LOBSTER TAGLIATELLE No need to say much about the lobster pasta. The cream sauce was well-balanced, coating every strand of fettuccine. The lobster was bouncy and fresh, though the pasta was a bit al dente. 🍾 The neighboring table ordered the [MIXED SEAFOOD GRILL], which looked like a huge portion. We were torn about adding it to our order but decided we couldn't finish it. We'll leave this little regret for our next visit. The average cost per person, excluding drinks, was around $100. Considering the taste and ambiance, I think the value for money is quite okay. #TorontoFoodie #TorontoFoodieCheckIn #TorontoFoodRecommendations
