Romantic Michelin One-Star Dining in Soho: Le Coucou (1)🌟
📍 Le Coucou 138 Lafayette St, New York, NY 10013 Le Coucou is a Michelin one-star restaurant in New York's Soho, opened in 2016 by chef Daniel Rose, who hails from Pennsylvania and has run Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris. 🎢🍃 The restaurant earned its Michelin star in 2019 and has been listed multiple times in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. 🌟 My boyfriend chose this place for his birthday because of its romantic ambiance and convenient location in Soho. The atmosphere was great, the prices and service were good, but the food was just average. 🎢🍃They offer a complimentary birthday candle and write "Happy Birthday" on the dessert plate, though they don't allow you to bring your own cake. 🎂 We ordered one cold appetizer, one warm appetizer, one main course, one dessert, and two drinks. With the tip, the total came to $260. We had to return one main course—the branzino was extremely bitter, likely due to improper handling of the bile. The restaurant manager quickly apologized and refunded the dish. 🍖 #NYC #NYCRestaurant #MichelinExperience 🌆
