Who would’ve thought a ramen spot opened by local Americans in Lansing would be this good? 😄 We tried their signature Tonkotsu Ramen — rich broth, tender chashu, and they absolutely nailed the soft-boiled egg and nori. You can tell the owners really did their ramen homework! 🥚🌊 The tempura shrimp was also super crispy 🍤 — maybe not fine-dining level, but definitely holds its own against other casual Japanese spots. But hey, this is still an American-style eatery — there’s a full bar 🍻, occasional live music 🎤, and everything except the noodles feels proudly USA… including the very reasonable prices 💸! They even serve a surprisingly tasty Mapo Tofu Noodle 😋 — though their version involves adding plain tofu (lol), the spicy sauce is flavorful and aromatic 🌶️👌, perfect for those who can’t handle too much heat.
