Sabores Tapas Bar | I Absolutely Love Seafood Paella!! 🍲

📍 **Sabores Tapas Bar:** 🥘 **About the Food:** 1. The seafood paella is delicious! It comes in servings for two or four people. 2. The fried squid is super crispy! 3. The bonsai cake was pretty good, though it felt like a trip down memory lane from childhood. 4. We ordered two glasses of Sangria, which were just okay🥹 The flavor was a bit weak, and the Red was slightly better than the Rosé. 🅿️ **About Parking:** My friend and I went there for the first time and didn’t know where Sabores’ own parking lot was, so we parked in front of another restaurant (which is a bit risky, so it’s better to park in Sabores’ own lot). If you’re dining at Sabores, you can park in the nearby garage and just ask the front desk for a complimentary parking voucher when you pay the bill. 💁‍♀️ **About the Service:** Their service was amazing! I have to write an extra paragraph haha. Initially, the water they served looked a bit cloudy. After asking the waiter, they brought us new water, but it was still a bit cloudy. My friend and I decided to order drinks instead of drinking the house water. The waiter then asked if we’d like bottled water—sparkling or still. Since we wanted water with our meal, we ordered sparkling and still water, plus two 🍷. Note that their bottled water is charged, but when we were checking out, the waiter came over and waived the cost of the water. They also gave my friend and me each a small glass of a special Colombian drink, which the waiter said he mixed himself and is a traditional cocktail from his hometown. I forgot to ask the name, but it tasted a bit like aguardiente sour, with a strong spice flavor. When we were leaving, they even asked if we needed a parking ticket. #dmv #foodie #SpanishCuisine #dcfoodie #dmveats #hiddenrestaurant #food
