Sacramento Food Stops Worth a Detour on Your Tahoe Trip! 😝

Sacramento is perfectly located halfway between the Bay and Tahoe 🚗💨, making it an ideal spot to refuel and relax. We stopped here for meals both on our way to Tahoe and back—and both picks were hits! Here are two delicious recommendations: Kin Thai Street Eatery 🍛 This place is not only delicious and refined—it’s also a 2025 Michelin Recommended spot! 🏆 Lucky us! We tried two special set meals 🍽️ that came with sides like purple rice cakes, tangy-spicy pickles, and unique dipping sauces. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and extra special. Their Tom Yum soup was flavorful 🍲, and the Thai iced tea was the best we’ve ever had—must-order! 🧋 The menu is extensive (they even have soft-shell crab 🦀), so we’ll definitely be back to try more. Old Guilin 🍜 The star dishes here are the Braised Beef Noodle Soup and Beef Pancake Roll—so good we finished every bite! 😋 The Mouthwatering Chicken was just okay, but the owner recommended the Couple’s Beef Tripe Salad—maybe you’ll like it! Bonus: No tipping required 🚫💵, and you clear your own table. Great value! Have a fun and full-bellied trip! 🥳🏔️ #SacramentoEats #TahoeRoadTrip #FoodStop #MichelinEats #ThaiFood #AsianCuisine
