Day 1 ⭐️ Catherine Palace 🎫 1600 RUB | 🕒 10:00–18:00 | Closed Tuesdays Besides the palace, the vast garden is also worth exploring 🌳. Although the map shows over a dozen spots, many buildings were closed when we visited 🚧. ⭐️ Kazan Cathedral 🎫 Free | 🕒 9:00–18:00 | Closed Tuesdays | ⏳ ~1 hour Located on Nevsky Prospect, you’ll pass by it often—plan flexibly! ⭐️ Dom Knigi (Century-Old Bookstore) Right across the street from the cathedral 📚. Full of products—postcards, fridge magnets 🧲. I bought a unique cobblestone-shaped magnet! ⭐️ Eliseyev Emporium (Historic Candy Store) More like a chocolate shop 🍫. Honestly not recommended—prices are 8-10× higher than elsewhere 😬. Stroll along Nevsky Prospect for Georgian cuisine 🍽️. The sunset glow over the street is incredibly romantic 🌇, and the night lights add another layer of beauty ✨. Day 2 ⭐️ The Hermitage Museum 🎫 500 RUB | 🕒 10:00–18:00 | Closed Mondays You can’t finish it—seriously! 😵 Start slow with audio guides, but eventually, you’ll be exhausted (though it’s breathtaking 🖼️). Wear comfy shoes 👟! Cafés inside for rest and snacks ☕. ⭐️ Palace Bridge over Neva River Offers a view of the Hermitage’s back side 🏰. Go after visiting the museum—mornings are backlit for photos 📸. ⭐️ Neva River Boat Tour Highly recommended! Only 500 RUB for 1.5 hours 🚢. Different routes: big boats go to the sea, small boats cruise inner canals. Sellers near the Hermitage offer discounts—bargain! 💬 Day 3 ⭐️ Peterhof Palace & Summer Garden 🎫 1200 RUB | 🕒 10:00–18:00 | Closed Mondays | ⏳ 3-4 hours Next to the palace is a free fountain garden ⛲. If you’ve seen the Hermitage, the garden alone is sufficient 🌷. ⭐️ St. Isaac’s Cathedral 🎫 450 RUB | 🕒 10:30–18:00 | Closed Wednesdays Tickets include church entry or dome climb (panoramic view!). ⭐️ Decembrists’ Square Right outside the cathedral—perfect for golden hour photos 🌆. ⭐️ Mariinsky Theatre A must-see ballet in a historic venue 💃.
