Saint Petersburg Leisurely 3-Day Tour ✨

This guide is perfect for those who, like me, prefer to travel at a relaxed pace without early mornings 🍃 🌟 Day 1 Hotel check-in → Nevsky River stroll → Century-old bookstore → Kazan Cathedral → Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood → Dinner 🏨 Hotel: I stayed at the Grand Hotel and loved it! Great location + super clean + excellent service + delicious breakfast. Right outside is a gorgeous photo spot by the river 📷, facing Kazan Cathedral with the Spilled Blood Church behind. The historic bookstore is just steps away, and the Winter Palace is a few minutes’ walk ✅ 📖 Century-old Bookstore: Window seats should be booked in advance—walk-ins often wait in line. For better photos, avoid noon—it’s backlit and too sunny 😂. Food is so-so, but their souvenirs like magnets and postcards are lovely! 🍴 Dinner: Porto 19—a highly-rated seafood restaurant. Must-tries: signature salmon 🍣 and stir-fried seafood 🦞. Their oysters 🦪 are freshly shucked—so good! 🌟 Day 2 Hermitage Museum → Dinner at BOBO Restaurant 💒 Hermitage: Set aside almost a full day—it’s huge! I spent from 10:30 AM to 5 PM 🕔. Book tickets online in advance during holidays to avoid long queues. The gift shop has beautiful souvenirs—I bought earrings I absolutely loved 😍 🍴 Dinner: Bourgeios Bohemians (BOBO)—a famous fine dining spot in Russia. We tried the signature menu (8,500 RUB per person). Reserve ahead—a 1,000 RUB deposit per person is required. 🌟 Day 3 St. Isaac’s Cathedral → Souvenir shopping → Dinner → Mariinsky Theatre Ballet ⛪️ St. Isaac’s Cathedral: Unique because you can climb to the top for a panoramic view of Saint Petersburg 🌆 🛍️ Souvenirs: Golden Apple—a local beauty store with tons of brands. Perfect for gifts for your girlfriends 😂 (Ask student friends for a membership card to get discounts!) 🍴 Dinner: My hidden gem—NOLA! Authentic New Orleans cuisine + jazz bar 🎷. Their snow crab 🦀, escargot 🐌, and Jambalaya are amazing 👍. Walk-in or reserve ahead. 🩰 Mariinsky Ballet: Book tickets online in advance with help from local students.
