Salesforce Park Is Hosting A Free Three Day Winter Festival With Live Music, Crafting, And More This December
Salesforce Park regularly hosts a variety of free events, from weekly yoga and fitness classes to garden tours. The beautiful rooftop park also hosts special events throughout the year, and one of their more popular events is returning for its sixth year this December. Winterfest is a free, three-day winter festival held at the park starting on Friday, December 5 and running through the weekend to Sunday, December 7 . The festival features numerous free activities, including live music, photo opportunities, crafting for kids, and wreath making. The events are family-friendly, with many ideal for younger children, such as the Toddler Time with the Blue Bear School of Music and the “Frozen” sing-along on Saturday, December 6 . Winterfest Schedule ------------------- Friday, December 5th: * 5:00 to 7:00 pm: performance by Magic Nostalgia * 5:00 to 7:00 pm: Craft at the Recess Cart * 5:00 to 7:00 pm: Holiday Photo Booth with CA Photo and Video Experiences * 5:30 to 5:50 pm: speeches and lighting ceremony Saturday, December 6th: * All day: Gift Wrapping Station * 10:00 to 11:00 am: Holiday Toddler Time with Blue Bear School of Music * 11:00 am to 12:30 pm: snow globe ornament making with GoGo Craft * 5:00 to 7:00 pm: “Frozen” sing-along at the Amphitheater * 5:00 to 7:00 pm: ugly sweater themed silent disco with HUSHconcerts Sunday, December 7th: * 9:00 to 11:00 am.: Holiday Wreath Craft Session 1 * 12:00 to 2:00 pm: Holiday Wreath Craft Session 2 * 3:00 to 5:00 pm: Holiday Wreath Craft Session 3 For the holiday wreath-making sessions , you will have to reserve a free ticket so organizers can properly prepare the correct number of supplies. Tickets will open on the Transbay Joint Powers Authority website on November 24. Winterfest coincides with other festive events around the city, including Let’s Glow*,* a holiday light projection show throughout Downtown.
