📍Salt Lake City|A Feast for the Eyes and the Palate 👁️🍽️
Tucked away in a remote corner of downtown Salt Lake City, this place is still so popular that even on weekdays, it’s hard to get a seat! It’s been open for over a year, but many people still haven’t discovered it—lucky you have me to share the secret 🥂🔍. Appetizers 🦪 Oyster Just average. Salt Lake actually has many better oyster options. 🦞 Main Lobster Salad A classic pairing of lobster and French Américaine sauce. This dish has everything a perfect appetizer should: tender lobster, crisp cucumber, and spicy sesame crisps that add fun texture. Multi-layered flavors—slightly sour, slightly spicy, just enough to wake up your appetite 😋🍤. Américaine sauce is literally lobster’s dream match 🧡, made from lobster broth, shallots, dry white wine, tomatoes, and more. 🏆 Peekytoe Crab Ravioli 🦀 Similar in style and texture to the lobster salad—elegant tanginess and heat shine through. Another soft + crispy combo, with crunch from fried spicy Calabrese sausage 🌶️. Main Courses 🐟 Wild-caught Halibut Perfectly cooked—tender, rich, and flavorful. Paired with lemon freshness and sweet pea purée. A masterpiece! ❌ Lamb Porterhouse 🥩 Tough and dry 😔. A shame, since the pickled ramps and mint pesto were refreshing and creative. ❌ Pork Chop Milanese 🍖 Not that it’s bad—but you can get equally perfect schnitzel for a quarter of the price elsewhere 💸. (I didn’t realize Milanese was basically schnitzel!) Desserts Ice Box Cake & Banana Cream Pie Both way too sweet 🍰😬. Better to skip them. Average per person: $100 💵 Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🅿️ Parking: Valet or parking garage available Urban Hill 📍510 S 300 W #100, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 #Memories #FoodReview #WesternCuisine #SaltLakeCity #FoodShare #MyFoodDiary #EnjoyLife #DessertLover #100RestaurantsChallenge #USTravel #Utah #WeekendPlans #DateNightSpot #FrenchCuisine #LocalEats #LifeInUSA #LocalSecrets #FoodieHiddenGems
