Salt Lake City|First Time Trying Conveyor Belt Sushi 🍣 Kura Sushi

🌟 The newly opened Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is SLC’s first conveyor belt sushi spot — still pretty busy since opening. You can reserve via their app — we waited about 15 minutes after arriving at noon. The food was decent but not mind-blowing — maybe we’ve been spoiled by all-you-can-eat sushi buffets in SLC! 😅 The experience is fun though — sushi plates circle around on the belt, and you just grab what you like. If something gets taken, you can order via the touchscreen above, and your dish will zoom right to your table! 🤖 They even have robot servers for drinks! After finishing plates, you can play with the gacha machine — every 15 plates = one gacha toy. Each table’s screen counts plates and plays cute animations when you insert them — great for kids. 👍 Recommended dishes: • Yuzu Jalapeño Sweet Shrimp • Salmon Toro • Fried Scallops • Warabimochi (kinako mochi) • Negitoro (minced tuna) • Sea Bream with Yuzu Pepper • Umami Oil Hokkai Octopus • Seared Salmon with Miso Cream Cheese 🦀 No uni today — out of stock. Three of us ate 17 plates total — about $80. Since it’s mostly self-serve, staff mainly just brought water and cleared plates. Worth a visit for the novelty and interactive experience. 📍 675 E 2100 S K, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 #SaltLakeCity #SLC #ConveyorBeltSushi #Sushi #FoodReview #JapaneseFood #Foodie
