Salt Lake City|Warm Up After Skiing with Korean Soft Tofu Stew 🏂❄️
After skiing in Salt Lake City, I wanted something hot and comforting but not AYCE. So I headed near Chinatown and chose this Korean tofu stew spot. ✅ The restaurant is quite spacious—kind of like a college cafeteria vibe. Service here is notably friendly compared to other Korean places I’ve been to. Multiple servers and the owner kept checking in—big plus! 🥰 🍽️ We ordered the Korean Pork Rib Soup (rare to find in US Korean restaurants—I usually crave it from Canadian spots!) and Seafood Soft Tofu Stew. 🥗 Side dishes deserve a shoutout—8 different kinds, including delicious potatoes and tofu! Unlike most places that serve banchan with the main course, here they brought them out right after ordering. We were so hungry we finished a whole round before our soups even arrived! 😅 🍜 Both soups were decent—on the lighter side compared to other places, not overly salty. Since I usually find Korean stews too salty (and end up adding hot water), this was just right for me. The pork rib soup had lots of tender, fall-off-the-bone meat—pretty satisfying. The restaurant was busy with what seemed like plenty of regulars. Maybe not the most “authentic” in flavor, but I might return just for the side dishes and service! 😋 💰 ~$30 per person. After filling up, we walked over to the nearby Asian market for snacks—perfect post-meal move! 🛒 📍 Baek Ri Hyang 3390 S State St #31, South Salt Lake, UT 84115 #FoodReview #KoreanFood #SoftTofuStew #PorkRibSoup #SaltLakeCity #SLCEats #SkiTripEats #AfterSkiFood #KoreanRestaurant #LocalEats 🍲🔥🧤
