Salt Lake City | What to Eat Besides Chinese Food 👉🏻 Hangover Pasta

This is a super unique local American restaurant with its own distinct style! I’ve been here twice for brunch and once for dinner. While dinner didn’t leave a strong impression, their brunch is absolutely worth trying! 🍳✨ My favorite dish is the Hangover Pasta—I was blown away from the first bite! The handmade pasta has an incredibly smooth texture, and the chef put clear thought into the flavors. It feels like carbonara but not quite, with a tangy kick from their homemade spicy sauce that perfectly balances the richness of the cheese. Topped with a soft-poached egg—break it open and let the yolk mix with the pasta and cheese… Bravo~ 👏🍝 Another standout is their Savory French Toast. Unlike sweet versions with maple syrup, this one is paired with a sauce made from cheese, sausage, and mushrooms. The toast also includes cashews for extra aroma and richness—the mix of savory and sweet is totally addictive! My only small complaint is that the sauce was a bit too salty for me. Next time, I want to try the sweet version because the toast itself is so fragrant. 🍞🧀 The restaurant also offers classic American breakfast options: pancakes, eggs Benedict, burgers, yogurt bowls, and more. There’s a small bar at the entrance where you can order drinks, and the wall decorations are works by local artists—giving the place a great vibe. Drop by when you have time! 🎨🥂 Name: Oquirrh Restaurant Address: 368 E 100 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84111 #SaltLakeCity #Utah #SLCFood #GlobalEats #HiddenRestaurantGems #PastaLover #FoodShare #LifeRecording #BrunchGoals #LocalFlavor
