🎀 French Onion Soup 4.5/5 A delicious French onion soup—the onions were perfectly caramelized, making it smooth and refreshing with a hint of red wine acidity. The only downside was too much cheese, which felt a bit overwhelming (?). 🎀 Skillet Rolls 3/5 The bread was soft and fluffy, paired with scallion butter. The combination had an Asian vibe, reminiscent of Taiwanese scallion bread. Tasty but not particularly impressive. 🎀 Steak Tartare 4/5 The beef was well-prepared, though parts of the bread were a bit tough. It would’ve been better if all the bread was crispy. 🎀 Crispy Calamari 2.5/5 A toned-down version of Taiwanese salty pepper squid. The fried calamari came with black garlic sauce, basil, and white pepper—similar to night market-style seasoning but not as bold. The basil and garlic flavors were too mild, leaving something missing. 🎀 Cherry Duck Breast (Special Menu) 3.5/5 The duck breast was tender and paired well with roasted cherries, but overall too sweet and became slightly greasy over time. White Horse has a similar dish, and I prefer theirs! 🎀 Iberian Pork Tenderloin 2/5 Overcooked—the meat was dry and tough. The carrots and peas on the side were nice though, with a citrusy aroma. 🎀 Key Lime Pie 3.5/5 Strong lime flavor, and the almond crunch on top was great, but a bit too sweet for my taste. 🎀 Catalina Breeze 4.5/5 A gin-based cocktail that tasted very summer-friendly and refreshing. 🎀 Tea at High Noon 3.5/5 A fancy-named highball—decent but nothing special. Urban Hill was named 2024 Most Outstanding Restaurant of the Year in Utah. I had high expectations before going, but it felt like Asian fusion without fully capturing the soul of Asian cuisine. For Asians, it wasn’t particularly impressive. Price: ~$200 for two after tax. #SaltLakeCityEats #UtahFood #SLCFood #FineDining #AsianFusion #FoodReview
