Salt Lake City Food Notes 🍽️🏔️
Cafe Shambala Rare Tibetan cuisine — affordable and delicious! No dish over $16, and the owner is super friendly. The combo of green peppers, onion, potato, tomato, and beef is a winner 🥘 Pair it with slightly salty butter tea for an instant trip to the Himalayas. Bar Nohm Cocktails are tasty 🍸 Their oden uses proper broth — no daikon, but they use turnip (like Animal Crossing turnips! 🥬). Ingredients are thoughtful, not generic fish cakes. Downside: the yakitori — chicken and hearts were undercooked for tenderness… let’s just say it didn’t agree with me 😣 Note: This is a bar — no ID, no entry; kids not allowed. Goodwood Barbecue Company If you’ve been in the US awhile, you’ve probably had this style of BBQ — no need to go out of your way.😘😍 One highlight: the ribs had lots of cartilage for nice texture. Otherwise, it’s classic sweet American BBQ sauce. The German sausage didn’t hit right in texture or flavor. Personally, I still prefer Texas Roadhouse. #Food #TravelEats #SaltLakeCity #FoodReview 🥩🍹✨
