Another workday lunch find! This place’s breakfast tacos are amazing — super generous portions 🤤. Honestly, it’s hard to pick a winner between this spot and the last taco place I tried. If a restaurant has been open since 1976, you know it’s gotta be good 🏆 — anything less probably wouldn’t have survived the pandemic! I was actually planning to hit up my usual breakfast taco spot, but my neighboring team’s boss treated us to lunch here instead 🥳. With over 2,500 Google reviews and a 4.3-star rating, this hole-in-the-wall is the real deal. After trying so many authentic little joints like this, I totally get why my Mexican friends side-eye places like Taco Cabana 😂. Usually, I can handle two breakfast tacos, but here, one was enough to fill me up — the second one was purely out of greed 😅. ▫️ Carne Guisada Taco – Tender, flavorful stewed beef chunks — so hearty and delicious. Highly recommend! 🥩🌮 ▫️ Chorizo & Potatoes Taco – Still not entirely sure what chorizo is, but with eggs or potatoes, it’s always a win 🥔🔥. Located near downtown — perfect for a quick morning pickup if you work in the area. 💰 Breakfast special (before 10:30 AM): $1.99 per taco 💰 After 10:30 AM: ~$2.99 each They also have a 10 tacos for $15.99 mix-and-match deal — great for treating your team! Way better than donuts 🍩🙅‍♀️. ▫️ Lunch Specials – Other coworkers ordered them — looked great and super affordable! While other spots charge $15+ for a quarter chicken + potatoes (before tax & tip), here the lunch special is only $8 — comes with meat, rice, and veggies 🍛. Seriously good value! Even just a meat-packed taco is around $5 and super filling.
