San Antonio|A Super Cozy Vietnamese Bubble Tea & Bakery Spot

I want to share one of my absolute favorite Vietnamese tea and bakery shops! ☕🥖 This place is close to North Star Mall, perfect for a post-shopping treat or a pre-shopping fuel-up 🛍️. The shop itself is small but full of charm. Ambience: No background music early on, so it’s pretty peaceful — but as it fills up, it turns into that lively brunch chatter vibe 🗣️🍽️. Feels warm, bustling, and very human — almost like a Vietnamese version of SA’s Artéa. Great for catching up with friends over food, though not ideal if you need serious quiet or a formal chat. From opening time, it stays busy, but by 3 PM on weekdays, the crowd thins out — nice for studying or working on your laptop 💻 with a slice of cake and tea. Hours: Opens at 9:00 AM 🕘 My go-to orders: 🥪 Banh Mi (Vietnamese Sandwich) Crusty baguette 🥖 + Vietnamese ham + mayo + a dark savory sauce + pickled carrot & daikon (the soul of banh mi!). Crunchy, tangy, savory — hits all the right notes. 🧋 Bubble Tea Their teas are not overly sweet (unlike some Vietnamese spots)! I love the Thai Tea and Brown Sugar Milk Tea — both great with clear pearls or black boba 🧋✨. 👨‍🍳 Service note: They do have table service, but we usually order at the counter — servers seemed busy but very friendly when around. Honestly, I like the low-key vibe — no interruptions, no rush to finish up. Feels relaxed and unhurried 💆‍♀️💬. In SA, pho spots are everywhere, but good banh mi is hard to find! While this isn’t the best banh mi I’ve had in the U.S., in SA — it’s my top pick so far 🏆. If you know other great banh mi spots in SA, please send recommendations my way! 🙏 📍 SP Cafe #BrunchSpot #RestaurantRecommendation #FoodieCheckIn #SanAntonio
