San Antonio|Foodie Must-Try Recommended by American Colleagues! 🏺🔥

Located in the Pearl district, this Mediterranean restaurant is so good that even those with a "Chinese stomach" will love it! 😋🇨🇳 🍽️ What We Ordered: 🥗 Salad: The lunch and dinner menus differ slightly. This salad – with bell peppers, cucumbers, feta cheese, and a light dressing – is refreshing and perfect for balancing richer dishes. 🧆 Hummus: Rich and nutty without any sour aftertaste. Topped with whole chickpeas – the more you eat, the more you enjoy it! 👍🏻 🌶️ Muhammara: A slightly spicy dip with pomegranate sweetness and crushed pecans for texture. Complex and delicious – don’t miss this! ❗️ 🎃 Tirshi: Sweet butternut squash with chili oil and fried peppers (adds aroma, not heat). Even my squash-hating friend loved it! 🫓 Pita Bread: Freshly baked, warm, soft, and chewy. So good on its own, and even better with dips! 🐑 Lamb Belly: My foodie colleague said: “If I had to pick one must-try dish in San Antonio, it’s THIS!” Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside. No gaminess – just rich, flavorful meat that falls off the bone. Served with pickled veggies and salad to cut the richness. 🐷 Pork Souvlaki: Incredibly tender and juicy – just as good as the lamb! 🍗 Also Recommended: Saffron chicken and mushroom shawarma – both excellent! You really can’t go wrong here. ☕️ Turkish Coffee: Fun to try! Not too strong, slightly sweet, and served in a cute little cup. ❤️ 🌿 Vibe: Great for outdoor seating on a nice day – very chill and relaxed! 📍 Ladino A must-visit – even those not usually into Mediterranean food loved it. Highly recommended! #SanAntonioEats #MediterraneanFood #FoodieRecommendation #TexasFood #Ladino #PearlDistrict #MustTry
