San Antonio|Hidden Gem Bubble Tea + Popcorn Chicken|Artea
If San Antonio had a local specialty, I’d nominate Artea 🧋💎! This homegrown bubble tea spot was my obsession during the pandemic — anytime friends gathered, I’d suggest coming here. Not just for the drinks, but also because their snacks are amazing 😋. It’s a one-stop shop for treats! Compared to newer spots like Feng Cha, Artea’s pricing is more reasonable 🤑. If you just want fruit tea, maybe go elsewhere — but if you want bubble tea + tasty bites in one trip, this is the spot. After trying about 80% of their menu, here are my favorites: 🧋 Drinks: Classic Milk Tea – Always good! Fruit Tea & Grapefruit Tea – My top picks 🍊🍍🍎. Fresh fruit flavors, though sometimes a tad sweet (just add a splash of water 💧). Mango/Strawberry Smoothie with Cheese Foam – Tier 2 in my heart ❤️. Creamy, salty-sweet foam with refreshing fruit slush — perfect for a scorching Texas day ☀️. 🍗 Snacks: Popcorn Chicken – Hands down, SA’s best popcorn chicken in my book 🍗✨. Pair it with a sweet drink and you’re in heaven. Sweet Potato Fries & Fried Rice – Also delicious! Fried Oreos – Too sweet for me, but some might love it 🍪. 📍 Two locations: Near UTSA 🎓 Near Alamo Ranch 🏘️ 🍑 New Peach Tea – Tasty, but max 30% sugar or it’s too sweet! I usually go sugar-free. 🥚 New Egg Waffle – Yummy but also on the sweet side. 📍 Artea 6362 De Zavala Rd Unit 108, San Antonio, TX 78249 #LifeInNorthAmerica #BubbleTea #SanAntonio #Texas #SanAntonioChineseFood
