San Antonio|Personally Proclaimed Best Dim Sum 🥢🥟

This Chinese restaurant has been serving San Antonio since 1987 — nearly 40 years 🎉! It’s also the only place in SA with classic dim sum carts on weekends 🛒. The quality has stayed consistently good, and I always bring friends here when they visit. For dim sum, I recommend going on weekends — it’s busier, but that’s when they have the carts and some special items you can’t get during the week! Here are my personal favorites — a few are even off-menu gems 😉: ✨ Steamed Bean Sprouts with Garlic 🥬 Stir-fried pea shoots with a touch of garlic — a must-order! (Not on the regular menu, weekends only — ask for “steamed bean sprout.”) ✨ Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce Braised until tender, falling-off-the-bone good with savory black bean flavor 👣💖. ✨ Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow) 🍤 Plump, juicy shrimp with a hint of bamboo shoot — the wrapper is thin, chewy, and nothing like frozen versions! ✨ Fried Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll Weekend cart special! Unlike regular steamed shrimp rolls, these have crispy fried shrimp wrapped inside — so good with that extra crunch 🦐✨. ✨ Steamed Beef Tripe with Ginger Bouncy texture with a light ginger finish — occasionally a larger piece isn’t as flavorful, but overall delicious. Some favorite regular menu items: 🍍 Sweet and Sour Pork Unlike typical American-Chinese versions, it’s lightly coated, not thickly battered. Tangy, sweet, and tasty! 🍤 Shrimp Supreme Light but wok-fried just right — comes with bamboo shoots, baby corn, carrots, mushrooms, water chestnuts, and more. 🐟 Garlic Black Bean Fish Crispy fried fish topped with savory black bean sauce — so flavorful! Only downside: a slight earthy taste when it cools. 🍜 Dry-Fried Rice Noodles with Beef (Chow Fun) A bit hit-or-miss depending on the chef — sometimes perfect, other times a little under-tossed. 📍 Golden Wok #LocalFavorite #DimSum #RestaurantRecommendation #SanAntonio
