Today, I joined a church picnic at this lovely park — and what a refreshing find! Here’s what makes Elmendorf Lake Park a little urban escape: 🌿 A peaceful lake where you can fish 🎣 👧 A fun playground to tire out the little ones 🚶‍♀️ Scenic trails for lakeside walks or runs 🍖 Picnic tables & grills — perfect for family gatherings 🚗 Easy parking 🌳 Plenty of shady trees — so green and soothing! We also spotted a pool that’s temporarily closed — I bet this place gets even livelier in the summer! Sometimes, the best kind of day is one where you just sit under the trees, soak up the sun, let your mind wander… and waste a little time surrounded by green.
