San Antonio | Guillermo’s Lunch + A Little Storytime

Another work lunch edition! After trying their lunch menu for a while, I’ve pretty much sampled everything. Here are some recent favorites 🍽️✨: 🥪 Focaccia Sandwich ($7.99) Turkey + bacon + avocado combo — delicious! Comes with a house salad that also has some cute bowtie pasta in it. Only downside: you can’t customize it, but you can just pick out what you don’t want. No biggie! 🌯 Wraps ($13.99) Spinach, Bacon, Chicken Turkey, Bacon, Avocado Chicken Cilantro All tasty — just pick based on your mood! Ordered by my personal preference 😉. 🍝 Pasta Bowls ($13.99) My top picks: Italian Beef Marinara and Spinach & Mushroom. A lot of my coworkers love the Chicken Alfredo, but I find it a bit heavy — makes me sleepy after lunch, so I usually skip it 😴. 🥟 2 Beef Empanadas A colleague ordered these — looked pretty plain, so I didn’t try. Probably wouldn’t recommend. 🍃 Storytime The first time I came here was for a team lunch, and everyone liked it so much it became a regular spot. Once, we brought a new colleague, K, here on her first day. The vibe was a bit awkward that meal — conversation didn’t really flow, and we didn’t eat together much after that. Coincidentally, last month on K’s last day, we ended up back here for lunch. Only after sitting down did someone suddenly say, “Hey, isn’t this the same place we brought K on her first day?” We all paused for a second — such a weird, fateful little moment 🌀. Hard to describe, but it felt meaningful in a quiet way. ✅ Wrap-up If the weather’s nice, sitting outside, enjoying the breeze and some light chat would be really lovely. Overall: great value, easy parking, perfect for a quick lunch. You can also order half portions of salad or pasta if you want something lighter. If you work near downtown, give it a try for lunch! #SanAntonio #SanAntonioFood #SanAntonioLife #LunchSpots
