San Antonio | Lobster Croissant & Mexican Brunch at La Panadería 🥐🦞
📍 La Panadería Bakery Café Heard the downtown location always has long lines, so we went to a branch outside the center – and it did not disappoint! This bakery is loved by locals and offers a surprisingly diverse menu with plenty of brunch options 🦞 Lobster Roll Even someone from Boston who’s tried countless lobster rolls said this one is legit delicious! The lobster has a mild spicy kick (but not too hot 😉), served with fresh lettuce in an extra-crispy spiral croissant. The combination is absolutely perfect 👌 – a must-try in SA! 🥩 Tequila Butter Steak & Eggs We ordered this randomly – it was decent but not a standout. The steak was marinated and a bit salty, but the scrambled eggs with bread 🍞 were pretty good. 🍫 Chocolate Concha A classic Mexican sweet bread – crispy and sweet on the outside, soft inside with no filling (kind of like a Mexican version of a pineapple bun!). Super cute and also comes in mini size. 🍍 Pork Loin Hawaiana Tarta Heard this is amazing! A sandwich with pork loin and pineapple – definitely on my list for next time. 🥚 Ranchero Eggs Benedict Saw other foodies raving about this – looks even better in real life than on the menu! Would recommend giving it a try. #BrunchGoals #LobsterRoll #MexicanFood #SanAntonioEats #TexasFood #TravelFoodie #FoodReview
