San Antonio | Schlitterbahn Waterpark Guide!
🎉 Labor Day Trip Checked into Schlitterbahn’s resort on Friday Opted for the Stay & Play package, which includes waterpark tickets ($279) 🎪 Saturday: Early Entry for Hotel Guests (10 AM) During the first hour, only three rides in the Blastenhoff area of East Park are open: Wolf Pack (left side – no Fast Lane, slow raft return, recommend riding this first) Black Knight (middle – pitch dark, need to carry your own tube, tiring 😮💨) Master Blaster (right side – slightly thrilling, ~2 seconds of weightlessness!) 📍 Surfenburg Area (East Park): Boogie Bahn (bodyboarding – didn’t manage to ride successfully though 😂) Dragon’s Revenge (long wait, bring your own tube, fast but not very exciting) 🏖 West Park: Grab a tube first! 📍 Left Section: Whitewater (lazy river – may swallow water, but I loved it! Rode multiple times 🌊) Downhill Racer (belly ride on a mat – not recommended if you have back issues) Hillside (another lazy river – just okay) Soda Straws (enclosed tube – can feel stuffy) Raging River (longest lazy river, ~20 mins – perfect for later, loved it too! ❤️) 📍 Right Section: Bow Wow Blaster (had Fast Lane but was broken – average ride) Congo River (was closed that day) 🥤 Unlimited Drink ($20): Machine malfunction made the soda taste weird – I felt sick after drinking it. Recommend bringing your own water! 💧 🍔 Single Meal ($19): We tried the Texas Brisket Sandwich from B&B. Not worth it – it’s only $15.99 if purchased separately. ⚡ Unlimited Fast Lane ($145): Only covers 11 rides. We didn’t plan our route well and felt rushed. Not the best value. Final thoughts: Fun experience, but bring water, skip the unlimited drink, and plan your Fast Lane route wisely! #TravelTips #USALife #Texas #SanAntonio #Houston #Waterpark #AmericanLife #TravelDiary
