San Antonio – The Most Beautiful US City I’ve Visited!

Over spring break, I went to Miami, Houston, and San Antonio. The last stop, San Antonio, truly stole my heart 🥹💖 Here are the amazing spots I explored: 1️⃣ San Antonio River Walk A stunning riverside promenade that’s beautiful both day and night 🌃🌳 We stayed at a hotel right along the river—super convenient everywhere we went! In the evening, we took a scenic boat tour 🚢 with a super friendly guide who shared stories about the architecture and history of the city. 🏰 2️⃣ The Saga Light Show at San Fernando Cathedral ⛪️ 📍 Main Plaza (very close to the River Walk) We arrived early and got seats—the light show was so cool! It tells the history of the city through projections. The official website says there are shows at 9 PM and 9:30 PM, but when we went at 9:30 PM, we only caught the end of the first show. To be safe, go at 9! ⏰✨ 3️⃣ Mission San Jose We watched a short documentary about the mission in their theater 🎬 The outside preserves the historic ruins—great place to learn about colonial and Native American history. I took some fun “wild-style” photos lying on a tree branch 🌳📸 lol! 4️⃣ The Alamo Didn’t take many photos, but it’s a must-visit! A very well-preserved historical site. Free entry 🆓 and also close to the River Walk. This famous landmark was a key battleground in the 1836 Texas Revolution. The surrounding area has shops and cafes—nice for a stroll. 🍴 The food here is also fantastic! Not only Texas BBQ, but also great affordable Mexican restaurants 🇲🇽 These were my favorites: 1️⃣ La Panaderia 🥣 Highly affordable brunch spot—I went two days in a row! Their pastries are huge and delicious 🥐, and the lobster roll was also great. The portions are massive, and as an LA student, I was shook by how cheap it was 😭💸 2️⃣ Boudro's on the Riverwalk 🇲🇽 The chef makes guacamole right at your table on a little cart 🥑 Absolutely INSANELY good!!! Perfect with chips. The scallops and quail were also delicious 😋 Sadly we didn’t get a riverside table 🥹 but I can only imagine how lovely it would’ve been! 3️⃣ Amorino 🍦 A gelato shop along the River Walk The ice cream was delicious, and the staff was super nice—they gave us a super full cup! Overall, San Antonio is a city full of historical charm and unique vibes 🌆 There may not be tons of attractions, but it’s 100% worth the visit 👍🏻 #StudyAbroadLife #SanAntonio #SATX #SanAntonioFood #VisitSanAntonio #TravelMemories #USTravel #SpringBreak #TexasTravelGuide
