San Antonio Food — Tex-Mex! 🍴🌮

Carriqui is located in The Pearl — a trendy, Instagram-worthy area in San Antonio with an industrial brewery vibe 🏭✨. We originally planned to walk around after the meal (great for kids too!), but our little one got too sleepy after eating, so we had to hit the road and let him nap in the car 😴. The atmosphere was lovely — we sat outside, and the weather was perfect, though there were a few flies buzzing around 🪰😂. The servers were super friendly and attentive! 👏 The food was tasty — their salsa was especially good 🍅, unique and not your typical tomato sauce. Picture 5 shows the beef cheek — flavorful, though I still think my partner cooks it better… too bad he doesn’t cook anymore 😂. We also ordered BBQ carrots (the small kind) — forgot to take a photo, but they were delicious with a nice crisp to them! 🥕 Overall, a great experience — though service was a bit slow, which meant our kiddo was totally wiped by the time we finished 😅.
