🚢 San Antonio River Cruise

At first, we took the boat tour near our hotel just because "we’re already here" — but it turned out to be such a lovely experience! We stayed at the Hilton Palacio del Rio (great location — balcony room with amazing night views 🌃). Right across from the riverside breakfast spot was the boat dock. The cruise lasted about an hour, with perfect weather and gentle sunlight ☀️. What stood out most was the captain’s hilarious commentary. He shared stories about San Antonio’s history and urban development, teased people strolling along the riverbank, and they’d play along — the laid-back vibe here is just so welcoming! 🐕 A guy walking his Husky caught the captain’s eye: "Look at that Husky — that’s what we call a Texas Chihuahua!" 😂 🏛️ At one historic building, each window had statues of a man and a woman side by side — both looking grumpy or angry. Around the corner, at the last window, two separate smiling statues appeared. The captain joked: "Oh, that’s because the middle-aged couple finally split up… you know how it is." I couldn’t stop laughing! An hour of slow storytelling, light laughs, and beautiful views — highly recommend! 👍 #Texas #SanAntonio #RiverCruise #TravelFun 🎤🌉🛶
