If you’re coming from Los Angeles, it’s about a 2-hour drive. You can also take the Pacific Surfliner train and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Board at: Union Station (Los Angeles) Get off at: Solana Beach or Old Town (San Diego). 🎈 **Highlights of Your Visit** This place feels like a natural zoo! The beach is teeming with wild seals and sea lions lounging on rocks and sand, occasionally making noises. They’re super cute but also quite smelly, so bringing a mask might be a good idea. There are also silly pelicans, soaring seagulls, and squirrels foraging in the cliffs and bushes—a scene full of life! 🐧 🌊 **Water Activities:** As an Asian, I definitely wasn’t brave enough to go in the water 😆. But in Figure 11, you can see a few locals playing in the cold water.
