San Francisco’s Legion of Honor Is Hosting An After-Hours Halloween Party

The Legion of Honor is one of SF’s most iconic art museums. With galleries filled with iconic works of art and stunning views of the bay, it’s a destination for locals and tourists alike. While you’ve probably only seen the museum during regular business hours, this fall, you have the chance to explore it after dark, with a Halloween twist. The museum is set to host a Late Night Editions party with a Halloween theme on October 30, 2025. Late Night Editions originally started at the de Young this April, as museum organizers looked for ways for San Franciscans to enjoy the Fine Arts Museums in new ways. The first party at the de Young focused on the work of Issac Julien , featuring his work on massive screens in the Wilsey Court. Guests were able to explore the museum’s gallery while sipping on cocktails and even enjoying a meal from a food truck outside the museum. Now, the event is back, this time at the Legion of Honor , to celebrate Halloween. Guests can expect a performance from DJ Mr. Carmack and other yet-to-be-announced special guests. Cocktails and food trucks will once again be available, and organizers encourage people to come dressed in their most creative costumes for the night. Tickets to the event start at $35, and attendees will have access to the new exhibition *Manet & Morisot* and the museum’s permanent galleries.
