A spontaneous Independence Day bike ride led us to San Francisco, with our turnaround point strategically set at Hilda and Jesse—the Bay Area’s only Michelin-starred brunch spot. 🍽️ The Menu: Classic Dishes, Modern Tricks Avocado Toast 🥑: Fried sweet potatoes with dill and horseradish. Interesting, but I still prefer @jadejoop’s version—her dill-mustard balance is unbeatable. Pancakes 🥞: A smoky bacon illusion! The secret? Maple syrup infused with smoked flavors—no actual meat needed. 🌱 The Star: Dish "92" Created to celebrate the restaurant’s ranking in SF Chronicle’s Top 100, this vegan dish featured: Pea shoots, sprouted lentils, and a mysterious tofu-based sauce. A flavor so complex and primal, Jade became obsessed—she’s been trying to recreate it for our breakfast sandwiches ever since! 😭 Summer Break Blues We rushed back this weekend to explore more… only to find them on summer hiatus.
