So in have a business not far from this location which a client of mine recently opened my eyes to. First time, had a great server, great atmosphere, great food. Went a second time by myself and had the same server, and the same result. I thought I found my new go to spot. I started now referring clients to this place. But, just when I thought I had a good thing the next two times I ordered breakfast to go. I was not treated the same. First two times when I called in to order. Upon arrival I was overlooked as I was the first one in the door and a group or groups came behind me and the person who was in the front.(hostess or server) would look pass me and or ask who is next as if I’m not in front of everyone. They kindly said he was both times. This last time which was yesterday morning I ordered via doordash and I was going to pick up. I have gotten the same thing the past 4 times there. I ask I for sub of one veggie for another veggie. And they don’t it every time. Upon arrival I’m the first in the door again. No hostess so I’m being patient as servers keep walking past me as they’re obviously busy. But after a couple minutes of waiting more ppl come behind me. A waiter now comes and literally looks past me and ask how can I help you to the group behind me. Looks right past me and this time they weren’t as nice to say he was before. I had to say something this time. I was honestly upset and I have a lot of patience. I asked him “you don’t see me standing here waiting?” He asked “don’t you have a to go order?” I said “yes, but how would you know that if you haven’t even greeted me and asked.” No answer. In the mean time the hostess comes and says we were calling you because we don’t have that veggie to sub. Mind you I’ve got this sub 4 times already. She went back and forth with me saying they don’t carry it until I said I’ve gotten it before multiple times. Then she says “oh we’re out.” I say “Ok fine can I just get my food so I can go to work?” She told me they never cooked it. I left with no food. Won’t be going back to get treated like that again. Oh and is I left i tried to contact doordash so they could change the order to delivery instead. Guess what this fine location did? They cancelled my order. You lost a consistent client and anyone I know will know about my experience
After the response from the shift manager who was the person that sent me away she did not acknowledge how I was not attended to as any customer should be when walking into a place of business. I get how there might not be an ingredient available. That is not an excuse to ignore someone. I would...

I have accidentally visited the restaurant again totally forgetting what has happened to me when I visited in 2021. As soon as I received the menu, which was rudely handed after 15 minutes of being seated, I remembered everything that happened at the last time of visit. AND the things were way worse this time. Not only that they never took our order by completely ignoring after looking at us, they even sighed and rolled their eyes. After placing an order, we have received a toast which was completely burnt and obviously not even edible. When we told the server that this isn’t edible, they gave us an attitude and just left not even saying a word. Like other comments that are negatively reviewed, the workers here seem to have a negative view toward Asians. I would never recommend anyone especially Asians to visit this restaurant unless you want to experience an authentic racism.
Below is the comment I left back when I visited in 2021 I visited here end of 2021 and writing this review since it was truly disappointing and hoping that things have changed. I do not want to say, but it was obvious that some workers are very racially motivated. The male shaved head server clearly skipped us multiple times and told us to wait to make an order with hands after a glance, not even a word or eye contact. Not only us, but other Asian couples were also intentionally left not being taken their order with same rude rejection by the server to take their order, while other customers who came far later than us and the couples were taken order once they were ready. After around 20 minutes of wait, the other lady came to take our order, who was friendly. The French toast was too tough, the omelette was too salty and never worth the price. The manager and the owner of this restaurant should take this problem seriously especially this place is a tourism spot and San Francisco is a global city. We were not expecting to experience such a thing in this restaurant with thousands of good reviews and were truly disappointed. It totally ruined...
