San Salvador πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡» See the Vibrancy of the World

San Salvador πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡», a country many haven't heard of, often overlooked in Central American travel destinations, but indeed a magical nation often passed through during layovers. This time, taking advantage of a seven-hour layover, I explored the capital, San Salvador, to the fullest. Once known for being dangerous and chaotic, San Salvador has now become a city perfect for urban walks. ✨ One-Day Travel Guide πŸ“ Church of the Rosary The famous Rainbow Church is renowned for its stunning light! 🌈 πŸ’‘ Note: Be sure to check the opening hours. Don't miss the Liberty Square opposite for a stroll. 🌳 πŸ“ Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador We couldn't enter the San Salvador Cathedral as it's closed from 1-4 PM. We admired it from the outside. πŸ‘€ πŸ“ National Palace of El Salvador Unfortunately, the National Palace was also closed during our visit... but the colorful Salvador sign at the entrance is perfect for photos. πŸ“Έ πŸ“ National Library of El Salvador On the other side of the square stands the National Library, built with Chinese aid. The architecture is truly magnificent, and many citizens come here to cool off and rest. You can also take an elevator to the top floor for a panoramic view of the entire city. πŸ‘€ πŸ“ Somasca El Calvario Church Heading further west, you'll come across this church surrounded by various markets. Wander through them to soak in the rich local atmosphere. πŸš— Transportation Taxis are very convenient. Right outside the airport is a plaza for pick-ups. The city center is quite far, about an hour's drive, costing around 20 dollars one way... It's said that there are cheaper buses available. Walk a few hundred meters from the airport to the Aeroman Transport Terminal, and the fare is just a few cents... 🧳 Luggage Storage Layovers with carry-on luggage are inevitable. Not wanting to wander with luggage, I asked a restaurant opposite the library if they could store it and had a meal there~ The locals are incredibly warm-hearted and were very helpful with the luggage. πŸ’• Many people ask what's the point of visiting such a niche country, but it's only by coming here that you can truly experience the uniqueness of each nation. May our lives be all about experiencing. β˜€οΈ #TravelGuideEditorial #OffTheBeatenPath #TravelInspiration #ElSalvador #HiddenGems #AroundTheWorld #GlobalTravel #TravelDiary
