📍Sand Caves | Attraction Near Kanab

Just a 10-minute drive from Kanab 🚗, and about 10+ minutes of hiking 🥾. Most of the path is flat, but the final section requires a bit of climbing using both hands and feet. We were carrying our little one 👶. The first slope was gentle with good footholds, so we made it up smoothly. Then we saw a steeper, smoother-looking slope ahead. I could’ve managed it alone, but holding the baby made it risky. We asked people coming back, and they said balancing was key—carrying a child might be tough. Just as we were hesitating (thinking of turning back), a kind guy nearby said, “If you want to go, I can guide you and help you balance.” 🙌 With his help, we made it through safely! Truly met a guardian angel on the road ✨. On our way back, we were surprised to see he was still there—so we asked for his help again. After guiding us back, he said he was about to leave. We walked back together and chatted—turned out he had been staying there for over three hours just helping people! ❤️ We were so lucky. Without him, we probably would’ve given up. And the Sand Caves themselves are gorgeous! 🏜️ Our little one had a blast playing in the sand and crawling around inside the caves—so happy! 😄 You can navigate directly by searching “Sand Caves” 🗺️. There’s open space for parking. #Kanab #SandCaves #WesternUSA #WestCoastTravel #Utah #TravelWithKids #HelpfulStrangers #NatureKindness #AdventureFamily
