Santa Fe Eats 1⃣️|Dinner For Two 🥩🍷
There aren’t too many recommendations online for Santa Fe restaurants, so on our first night, we randomly chose Dinner For Two Restaurant right next to our hotel. The lighting inside was pretty dim, so the food photos didn’t turn out great—but the flavors were on point, and the grilling was perfectly executed. We ordered three appetizers: • Mussel Broth: Recommended by our server. Rich and flavorful with plenty of mussels and a strong tomato base. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Pork Ribs: Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside—definitely a house specialty! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Strawberry & Beet Salad: Refreshing and fruity 🥗. I liked it, but it’s pretty standard. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ For the main courses: • Fillet Oscar: The fillet itself was mild, so the sauce carried the dish. Cooked medium, it was tender and paired with a rich, unique sauce. A bit heavy though—cream and cocoa made it easy to get full quickly. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ • Ribeye: Prime grade beef, charcoal-grilled to perfection 🔥. Medium-rare, smoky on the outside, juicy inside—absolutely satisfying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We also tried the Carrot Cake for dessert 🥕🍰. It was fairly standard with a hint of cinnamon—not too strong, even for someone who usually doesn’t love cinnamon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I noticed many guests ordering the teppanyaki—they bring a mini grill to your table and cook it right in front of you! Looks fun. Also, desserts aren’t on the menu—ask your server. There’s also a bar at the entrance. Address: 106 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501 Overall, it’s a solid steakhouse. You can book via OpenTable—we didn’t need to wait when we went. Street parking only—no dedicated lot. We stayed at Las Palomas and walked over in just 3 minutes. Super convenient! #HiddenGems #NewMexico #SantaFe #SantaFeEats #Steakhouse #FoodReview #DateNight #TravelDining #LocalCuisine #FoodieAdventure
