✨ Santa Fe Travel Guide
We chose Santa Fe as one of our Route 66 stops, and this winter, the town felt serene and cozy, with its charming low-rise adobe houses full of cultural character. 🏨 Hotel Pick: El Rey Court A vibrant retro motel filled with Mexican folk art—so photogenic that many visitors come just for the Instagram shots! 📸 🎨 Art District (Second Only to NYC!) Santa Fe’s art scene is legendary! Though it looks like just one main street, every alley hides a surprise—galleries, studios, and hidden courtyards. 🖼️ Fun fact: Met a well-known curator who shared insider tips on private gallery preferences! ☕ Downtown Strolls The compact downtown is perfect for slow exploration—coffee in hand, popping into galleries at leisure. 🍫 Must-Try: Kakawa Chocolate House Their spicy hot chocolate is divine—smooth, rich, with a warming kick! 🍫 Tip: Go for the smallest size (it’s rich!). Also loved their truffles and pomegranate chocolates. 🍽️ Food Recs 🌮 Pantry Restaurant – Reliable New Mexican breakfasts (huge portions—come hungry!). 🍷 Geronimo – Upscale French dining with the best mushroom soup & crab cakes ever! Note: Desserts are very sweet, and the low ceilings add a cozy (but slightly cramped) vibe. #SantaFeEats #SantaFeHotels #ArtLovers #Route66 #TravelGram
