Santa Marta: Sun, Sand &... Takeout? 🌴🍱

As I mentioned in my last post, I surprised my mom with a flight from Medellín to Santa Marta for her birthday—her second Colombian destination! 🎉 We stayed at a resort 15 mins from downtown (peaceful but car-free 🚗💨), so we mostly ordered delivery 🛵. Sunbathing + beach walks + takeout = a major slowdown after our action-packed Medellín week! One evening, we ventured downtown to see: Bolívar Park 🌳 Santa Marta Cathedral ⛪ Novios Park 💑 Silver lining: Tayrona National Park was closed—no guilt about skipping another day trip!
